100% natural, frozen raw sprats

Our 100% natural, frozen raw sprats are an essential part of your dog's raw diet.

Individually frozen and perfect for dogs of all sizes, these small oily fish are highly nutritious, help keep teeth clean and can be used as an effective training tool.

Our raw sprats are carefully selected from trusted and sustainable sources, guaranteeing exceptional quality and freshness.

Packed with essential vitamins and minerals

Sprats are a 100% natural, grain-free protein source that are packed with essential vitamins and minerals.

They are naturally high in Omega-3 and 6 fatty acids which helps support cardiovascular and joint mobility. Essential vitamins like D and B₁₂ prevent dry skin and give your dog a rich, glossy coat.

Sprats are also a great hypoallergenic choice and work really well with fussy eaters or sensitive stomachs.

Helps keep teeth & gums clean and healthy

Dental hygiene is crucial for your dog's overall well-being, and raw sprats are the natural way of keeping your dog's teeth & gums clean and healthy.

The act of chewing on sprats scrapes away plaque, massages gums, and helps prevent tartar build-up, naturally promoting healthy teeth and gums.

The primal act of chewing and gnawing on the sprats also releases endorphins in your dog's brain which reduces stress and anxiety in dogs.

The ultimate dog training treat

Raw sprats are the ultimate training treat for dogs.

An intense taste and strong smell make sprats perfect for keeping a dog's attention during focused training sessions and memory recall tasks.

And because they are individually frozen, they can be easily portioned out for your convenience.

How does delivery work?

Mersey Raw is proud to offer next day frozen delivery to most of the UK, 7 days a week.

Orders made before 1pm will be shipped the same day. Any orders placed after 1pm will be shipped the following day. Our delivery costs £6.95 (free on orders over £65).

As our products are classed as perishable goods, they are sent on a next day delivery service. If you are not at home to receive your order, our couriers will leave it in the safest place possible and if you have not already notified the courier where to leave it.

Mersey Raw accepts no responsibility for orders that have been diverted or left in a safe place, therefore please ensure someone is available to receive your order.

Once your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive tracking information from the courier to the email address or mobile number you have entered on your order. We specifically request that someone be home to take in the parcel, as Mersey Raw is not liable for any parcels that are redirected, or requested to be left in a safe place.

Please note: do not change the delivery date of your parcel - this could result in your parcel being disposed of as it contains frozen goods. Mersey Raw will not replace orders that have been disposed of for this reason.

Our frozen next day delivery costs £6.95 and is free for orders over £65. Any order received before 1pm will be delivered the next day (7 days a week). Orders placed after 1pm will arrive 2 days later.

Scottish Highlands and islands

If you live in the Scottish Highlands or on a UK island, please contact us for more information about delivery to your area.

Do I serve them fresh or frozen?

You can serve our raw sprats either fresh or frozen.

Frozen sprats have a crunchy texture that dog's love, and it's also a great way to give them a healthy, frozen treat on warmer days.

How many can I feed my dog per day?

Our frozen raw sprats are a healthy and natural treat that can be enjoyed every day.

In terms of how many to eat per day, we recommend:

  • Small dogs (under 10 kg): 1 – 3 per day
  • Medium dogs (10 – 25 kg): 3 – 5 per day
  • Large dogs (over 25 kg): Up to 10 per day

Should I cut them up first, or feed them whole?

Either way works, however we recommend feeding them whole as this gives them the full benefits of eating raw sprats.
