How does delivery work?
Mersey Raw is proud to offer next day frozen delivery to most of the UK, 7 days a week.
Orders made before 1pm will be shipped the same day. Any orders placed after 1pm will be shipped the following day. Our delivery costs £6.95 (free on orders over £65).
As our products are classed as perishable goods, they are sent on a next day delivery service. If you are not at home to receive your order, our couriers will leave it in the safest place possible and if you have not already notified the courier where to leave it.
Mersey Raw accepts no responsibility for orders that have been diverted or left in a safe place, therefore please ensure someone is available to receive your order.
Once your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive tracking information from the courier to the email address or mobile number you have entered on your order. We specifically request that someone be home to take in the parcel, as Mersey Raw is not liable for any parcels that are redirected, or requested to be left in a safe place.
Please note: do not change the delivery date of your parcel - this could result in your parcel being disposed of as it contains frozen goods. Mersey Raw will not replace orders that have been disposed of for this reason.
Our frozen next day delivery costs £6.95 and is free for orders over £65. Any order received before 1pm will be delivered the next day (7 days a week). Orders placed after 1pm will arrive 2 days later.

How much should I give my dog?
We recommend feeding your dog approximately 2-3% of its ideal body weight in raw food per day.
More active dogs should be fed approximately 3-4% of their ideal body weight in raw food per day and less active dogs approximately 1-2% of their ideal body weight.
For puppies, feed them approximately 5-8% of their ideal body weight in raw food per day.
Spread their daily amount into 1-2 servings per day.
As a rough guide, for adult dogs:
Extra small dogs 1kg - 5kg (Dachshund, Pomeranian, Toy Poodle): 30g - 150g per day.
Small dogs 5kg - 10kg (Yorkshire Terrier, French Bulldog, Miniature Schnauzer): 150g - 300g per day.
Medium-sized dogs 10kg - 25kg (Bearded Collie, Cocker Spaniel, Beagle) 150g - 750g per day.
Large dogs 25kg - 45kg (German Shepherd, Labrador, Dalmation) 750g - 1.35kg per day.
Extra large dogs 45kg+ (Irish Wolfhound, Great Dane, Bernese Mountain Dog) over 1.35kg per day.
How to switch to raw dog food?
Switching to raw dog food is easy and straight-forward for almost all dogs.
The easiest way to switch, and what works for 99% of dogs, is to immediately switch from their old food to their new raw dog food.
If your dog is a little reluctant to try new things and perhaps prone to an occasionally upset tummy, one thing that will help them transition to raw dog food is to mix in some warm (not hot) water or add some bone broth.
Is it suitable for puppies?
Yes, Mersey Raw dog food is suitable for dogs of all ages, including puppies.
If your puppy is under 8 weeks old, we recommend serving them our duck, chicken, venison or turkey minces, as they are a touch finer.
Should I add any supplements?
A mixed raw diet has everything that your dog needs to stay fit and healthy.
If you would like to supplement your dog's diet, we recommend supplementing with oily fish, whole raw eggs (including shell), and bone broth.
Once thawed, how long does it last?
Once thawed, our raw dog food is perfectly fine to be used for 4 days, when you keep it sealed in the fridge.
Once thawed, can it be re-frozen?
Yes it can, but you can only re-freeze our raw dog food once and only if it’s remained cool throughout the time it has been thawed.
In the freezer, how long will it last?
Mersey Raw frozen dog food can last up to 12 months in your freezer.

Was feeding my French bulldog puppy another brand of raw food and decided to switch to Mersey Raw as the quality of the meat looked so much better. So glad I did, Milo absolutely loves it. His bowl is literally clean after each feed and he looks for more. The quality of the meat is so good, would highly recommend to anyone with a fur baby.

Extremely pleased with Mersey Raw. I have a 12 week old fox red lab and a 16 week old black working cocker they are thriving on it and demolish the food within seconds. They love all of the varieties that come in the 10kg bundle. Their condition is superb and the energy levels are off the scale. I highly recommend it.

Very fussy 8 nonth old cocker spaniel who just refuses kibble. Or even kibble mixed with raw. Wolfs down Mersey Raw like there is no tomorrow.

Have only fed a couple of meals, but looks good and pup is enjoying them
Really good quality food in nice packaging. Easy to stack and store, then open when needed. Dogs love it and leave clean bowls. Only downside is being delivered by DPD who won’t bring parcels to me, but dump them downstairs without telling me. This delivery was left in the sun for a few hours until a neighbour told me it was there.
Excellent product and wonderfully packaged. Arrived on time andas stated.

This is a exciting varied mix of meats which my dogs love. The package comes well packed and perfectly frozen on arrival. The individual packs are really well sealed and presented.

Repeat customer. I often get the Chicken free bundle, and occasionally add the 10kg bundle. The quality of the meat is very good, and the meat is minced chunkier which I prefer for my dogs. This bundle had a good mix of all their tubs with not too many chicken or chicken blends, so great value.

Although the food is good I have twice received broken containers and blood all in the box, I discarded bloody containers that were cracked so lost food I paid for. Lamb bones were also defrosted
