Are deer antlers safe for dogs?

Our natural deer antlers are perfectly safe for all dogs.

Deer antlers are highly resistant to splintering. Composed of a dense, tough bone material and a honeycomb-like marrow core, they generally grind down slowly rather than fracturing into sharp shards.

That being said though, we do recommend that dogs always be supervised when chewing.

At what point should I throw the antler away?

Our deer antlers should be removed from your dog when the antler is small enough to swallow.

How long will they last?

Our deer antlers typically last from 2 weeks up to several months.
